Mr. Random’s Radio Show

Hello listeners. I know there are at least two (2) of you. lelu and Mrs. Random, thank you so much. If there are others, feel free to leave graffiti in the comments area or email me at fletk@efn.org.

I don’t know if ANY of you out there (I see somewhere between 1 and a dozen or so downloads per segment) are putting these shows on your mp3 players, but I just noticed that my Creative Zen Micro is not recognizing the mp3 tags (artist, title, album, etc.), and neither is Windows (Media Player and Explorer). Winamp is, which is what I use to tag my mp3 podcast files. I don’t know what the problem is, and I apologize if this is a problem for any of you.

I will start experimenting with different tagging software, starting with Windows Media Player I suppose, since I have it. But I’ll do some research, as well. If you are just listening on your computer, well, this stuff probably doesn’t matter to you, but I’m trying to provide a competent podcast here :)

As far as going back to correct tags for past shows, no, I won’t be doing that.  The audio files are there, and listenable.  People concerned with accurate tagging probably already have re-tagging software, yo.  But I do want to get this fixed in the very near future. Thanks for listening.
